Welcome to week 8!

Let me first apologize to my string of neighbors that look forward to my blog postings and what insight I have to give. (this is ALL in my mind) I am SO very sorry that I've disappointed you. Last week just got away from me, I had so many obligations outside of school and trying to get just the right amount of information for my paper was a little stressful.

This week as we discuss decision making strategies the one that I find to be the most effective for me in making decisions is to acquire expertise. This expert advise came come in the form of research, past experience and advise from other leaders. Oftentimes leaders that are not directly affected or associated with the problem will be able to give a clear objective solution to resolve the issue.

The strategy that I find the most difficult in trying to resolve my issues are my very own prejudice to the situation. This usually proves quite difficult because of the other people that may be involved.

I know that as a leader it will be impossible to please all the people all the time so you must always do what is fair and just according to your ability, rules and laws. You will be well respected for your ethical unbiased judgement.

OK neighbors I'm going in - it's almost time for the street lights to come on.
